Today's release is pure nostalgia for me. I'll never forget the Machinery of the Night shows with @danleymurner and solo DJ sets as O.G. DJ Sak. Those were some of the best years of my life. At one Odette Halloween show, things were literally falling off the walls and crashing to the floor while we danced all night.

Dj'ing isn't just a hobby, it's an art to me. The flow of a DJ set has nuance and precision. You're reading the crowd, but honestly, it's more towards leading the crowd somewhere. My favorite is to expose the listener to something they've never heard. It invokes those "What is this SONG?!" feelings. That's my mission. The amount of music we have at our fingertips is astonishing, yet so many people haven't had the chance to explore outside of the realm of popular music. There are entire universes of music dying to reach your ears from underground artists/producers.

So today, I bring you a mixtape that I feel captures the heart and soul of Midnight Marty and those bygone days. It's a mix of familiar and unfamiliar, with the all-encompassing goal of getting you moving and dancing. I wish I was able to perform this set, but this is the next best thing.
